San news to report on Jack Bozanich...March 22, 1946 - February 2, 2021 Born March 22, 1946 and passed away February 2, 2021 after a valiant battle against Covid-19, Jack was the youngest of the three sons of Jack (Jakov) and Florence Palma Bozanich (Zitko). He served two years in the US Army, mostly stationed in Korea. He was employed by the US Postal Service for 40 years in multiple positions in Long Beach and Santa Ana before retiring 15 years ago. A San Pedran since birth, Jack was a devoted Mary Star of the Sea parishoner, member of the Dalmatian-American Club, and avid sports fan, primarily the Angels, Rams, Clippers, Kings, and UCLA. He is survived by his brothers, Dinko (Chere) and Peter (Pam); niece, Julie; nephew, David; and niece, Natalie. He was predeceased by nephew Michael. Jack will be interred at Green Hills near his parents. To be determined is a celebration of his life.
